NAIRN TURKEY TROT

Club athletes have been out an about sweating off the turkey and mince pies most notably at Boxing Days Nairn Turkey Trot.  There were a large number of club runners who skated around the 5k route and enjoyed a cracking winters day race.  Well done to everyone who took part – Results are HERE

NEW YEARS DAY

There is likely to be a traditional New Years Day Mast run for the Joggers – If anyone has details please contact Ross and details can go onto the Website and Facebook Page.

PARKRUN & FESTIVE INTER CLUB CRAIG DUNAIN RUN

This Saturday (3rd Jan) a contingent of runners from local clubs are coming to Inverness to do the Parkrun and then have a social run to the mast followed by coffee at the Aquadome Cafe.  Paul Rogan of Forres is coming through and is encouraging MRRs and Nairn to come too.  Dougie Macdonald of HHR is sorting out a squad and it would be great to see as many Gold and Maroon vests as possible on show at the Parkrun and up the mast afterwards.  See you all at the Bught before the 9.30 Parkrun kick off.

CLUB HANDICAP – BUGHT – SUNDAY 4TH JANUARY

This Sunday (4th) sees the staging of the next round in the Clubs Winter Handicap Series.  The route is likely to follow last years successful figure of 8 route in order to have a respite from the Bught circuit so familiar to Parkrunners. Route is available HERE

Registration is from 1pm at the Club with the Junior race off at 1.30 sharp.  Please bring along some refreshments for afterwards, preferably not Turkey Sandwiches, Mince Pies or Christmas Pudding!
