TAIN GALA 10k AND FUN RUN SUCCESS

Double wins for Inverness Harriers in last night’s Tain Gala 10k in cold and windy conditions – Gordon Lennox took the men’s title and Heather Gardiner the ladies! Gordon pulled away from Donnie Macdonald after 5 miles to win in 33.11, 17 seconds ahead of Donnie, with Graham Bee 3rd, Paul Miller 5th (v40) after a tough battle with Johnny Macleod, 6th, and strong runs from Stuart, Peter and Adam. Heather won in 45.04 and was backed up with great running from team mates Carrie, Fiona, Joanna, Lorna and Margaret (v60). Success also for our juniors, Eve and Anna, who were 2nd and 3rd in the 5k in excellent times. Well done everyone!
