Club Constitution & Policies
The Inverness Harriers Amateur Athletics Club (IHAAC) constitution is a set of fundamental principles or established precedents according to which the club is acknowledged to be governed by. The constitution sets out the purpose of the club and includes but not limited to the club committee structure, types of membership available to club members and the certain responsibilities and powers of office bearers. The constitution together with the clubs Policies and Procedures will help to protect the club members and office bearers and make the club run more smoothly.
The club has now adopted the Equality, Safeguarding (Welfare including Codes of Conduct), Conflict of Interest and Disciplinary policies and procedures as set out by our governing body Scottish Athletics – these were adopted at the Committee Meeting dated Monday 5th July 2021.
