After a couple of months of travelling out to Moray for the forest run series, it’s now the turn of Inverness Harriers to host some off-road running. The Dochfour Dash has become a popular fixture with its 5.1(ish) mile course, mainly on the banks of the Caledonian Canal. This year’s event is taking place on Wednesday 2 July at 7.15pm. Race Director Lee Ross has put together a strong team of volunteers to make sure things go smoothly (even if the running surface isn’t). Club members who are not helping, as well as members of other clubs and non-affiliated runners, are warmly welcome to take part.
