There was a strong field or athletes on show at todays popular Dyke 10k.  Gordie Lennox and Stan Mackenzie continued to show the dividends of training with the Harriers with the Ross-shire based Forres Harriers finishing 1st and 2nd.

First Harrier was Paul Miller in 37.20 with Female winner Jenny Bannerman hot on his heels in 37.24.  Next Harrier was Tim Cooke in 38.28 with Jonny Macleod next in 38.58.  Club coach and track veteran Ross Cairns was next up in a creditable 40.09 in his first 10k in many a year.

Next up was evergreen Alex Sutherland who posted a 40.41 finishing 2nd in the V60 category behind George Sim of Moray Roadrunners.

Club newcomer Peter Fraser had a great run finishing 35th in 41.39 shortly ahead of 2nd female Roma Shepherd (41.39) and pacemaker Billy Skinner (41.44)

Also performing well in the windy conditions were Caroline Marwick (44.37), Lisa Macrae 52.21, Fiona Mackay (52.50) and Averil Lamont (56.51)

There was a mixed team prize which was won by Paul, Jenny, Tim and Roma.
