Congratulations to George Evans for his selection to the Scottish Athletics Academy for the National throws group,its a big honour for George to be selected as only 8 or 9 athletes have been selected for the coming year this opens up alot more training opportunities and competitions for George and access to specific training with the National coaches.

George’s coach Duncan Flockhart is delighted for George and will also have the opportunity to travel with George to take part in the training and National coaching set up as Scottish Athletics want club coaches to be heavily involved in the training of their own athletes,this is a tremendous opportunity for George to help in his progress as an athlete but also a big boost to Dunacn and his throws team who have done tremendously well  putting together a great throws group at the club.
