This weekend saw the opening match for the Scottish men’s league in Grangemouth.  This was a extra tough start to our plight to stay in the top Division with several athletes having to pull out in the last minute due to injuries.  Never the less the very young squad battled and scraped for points and despite finishing last on the day they can hold their heads high with their efforts.  Highlight of the day was Adam Hobsons 52.16 javelin throw which was not only a pb but a club record.  It’s important we fill all the events and the team is lacking on throwers and steeplechasers especially.  If you can help in these event get in touch with a coach at the club.  Next event to be held in Inverness on the 14th of June.
